I do a lot of these small watercolor/ink architectural paintings from Italy. I visited Florence, Venice and Como a little over a year ago and I love painting the buildings and structures from there.

I bought these panels from another artist. He mounts Yupo paper on Ampersand hardboard. Very good surface for these types of watercolors. Yupo is a great surface for watercolor also. The colors remain very vibrant.
Haven't been here in a while. I've been trying some oil painting and thought I would post the results. Here are couple ACEO cards and a 5X6 I just completed. You can buy any of these here. - All Sold
Well I finally broke down and painted a bigger piece. Not too much bigger, it's 5X7 but it's a start. I'm not totally satisfied with this one but I think it's on the verge of being overworked (maybe it's already there).
If you are interested, you can bid on it here. SOLD
This seems to be the most popular type of subject I paint. It's a combination of Pen and Ink and Watercolor. I visited Italy a couple years ago and was fascinated by the architecture there.
I have been selling ACEO cards on ebay for the last few months. I like the format because it doesn't seem too intimidating to me. I have painted some bigger pieces but nothing bigger than 9x6. Most of those have sold but I have the others for sale on my Etsy site . Here is the latest ACEO I have listed on ebay.

I have been painting a very short time. I have sketched off and on most of my life and thought I'd give this a try. Whatever you see here, I hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping by.
